Wingate by Wyndham Pittsburgh/West Mifflin

Room was very nice. Pretty clean, comfy. There was stuff left in nightstand drawer from previous people's stay, so room wasn't 100% thoroughly cleaned/gone through. Check in was quick. Staff is very friendly! I always stay here when I come in and never have any problems.

This Wingate motel is a great choice for travelers seeking an economic, value overnight accommodation in the Pittsburgh area. It's situated in a nice neighborhood so there aren't any concerns regarding safety and plenty of dining options around, including the Primanti Bros down the road. The rooms are pretty clean, the building is still in good shape, and the continental breakfast was standard. I did my fair share of research and this was probably the best option for lodging in this area at this price point. My only gripe - very minor - is that parking spaces in the front are limited so you may have to go towards the back - making for a longer walk to your room - but that does not take anything away from my five-star review.

Room was nice and clean. Friendly staff. Front desk staff was very personable. They made you feel welcomed. Pillows were amazing, bed was nice and comfy. Would stay here again.

For a quick stay very convenient Good Breakfast I have stayed at better but for what it was and price I give it 4 stars it's just a older hotel but room was clean just had that old hotel oder...Other than that it was fine.In a pinch I would stay there again,went through Priceline great price.....$$$$$$

Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, pillows are quite possibly the softest hotel pillows I’ve ever slept on. Only downside is no guest laundry machines. They also don’t put a hold on your card for incidentals which is nice.

Overall, this was a good place to stay. There were a few minor details that I noticed in the room as far as housekeeping. First, the desk in the room was obviously not wiped down (there were a lot of water stains visible), the carpet was not vacuumed properly and the back of the toilet was quite dirty. There was also some mold visible around the tub. However, the bedding was clean and the overall upkeep of the room was good (not a lot of dust, furniture was in good shape, etc.) The staff were first rate! I give them 5 stars! Very friendly, professional and accommodating. Maintenance was also wonderful. We had a slow draining sink and they were very responsive and effective. Breakfast was great! Lots of choices and everything was fresh and delicious! Overall, I give it 4 stars.

My stay was quick checked in at 1:00am Sunday night and checked out at 10:30am Sunday morning, the only issue I had was the rate/charge fee for the room. Normally if i get a room anywhere else and arrive that late they don't charge me the full amount for my stay. Just some food for thought. Everything else was great, my room was clean, bathroom was clean. No other issues beside my charge for the room.

Nice hotel, very clean. I like the Dove soap that they use @every Wingate. Location was a little far from the convention center (20min), but the hotel was in good proximity to all the important stuff you usually can't find easily downtown: Walmart, Shop Rite, Dunkin, Wendys, etc. One of the other rooms was loud but I'm a heavy sleeper so I was good. Wish there was waffles for breakfast but cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, eggs, and potatoes w/sausage get the job done as well.
